Fees Structure

Individual meetings are 50 minutes in length. Family and couple sessions
may extend to about 80 minutes, for an additional fee. The initial phone
consult is free for about 15 minutes. Payment is accepted by cash, check or e transfer prior to the meeting. 24 hour notice is required for cancellations and a cancelation less than 24 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee, which is half of your session fee.

I understand finances can be a barrier to access therapy and I offer sliding scales for the needy who cannot afford the full fee and are not covered by their extended health benefits. I set aside a few spots for the sliding scale and kindly email me to know the availability of the sliding scale.

Insurance

If you have decided to pursue therapy with me, kindly check with your
current health care insurance provider if you qualify a reimbursement for
psychotherapy services from a Registered Social Worker. Kindly be aware
that there is no HST charges for the services from a Registered Social
Worker. Also, you would be able to claim this fee as a medical expense for
income tax purposes.
